Bird Log 24th June 2008

These bird photos were taken while I was photographing the surf at Flat Rock, just off Newcastle Baths. It was a sunny day with a light North west wind blowing. Here are the list of birds that I saw:

Australasian Gannet

The Australasian Gannet has a scientific name of Morus serrrator.

Common Tern

The Common Tern has a scientific name of Sterna hirundo.

Sooty Oystercatcher

The Sooty Oystercatcher has a scientific name of Haematopus fuliginosus.

Crested Tern
