Derby Wetlands

Derby Two

On the second day in Derby I went to the Derby Wetlands which is about five kilometers north of town. The wetlands are made out of the run-off from the town’s sewerage treatment works. A very good idea. Then it is sent to the golf club to make their grass all nice and green. In the morning there was not much around. Very slim pickings indeed. 🙁

I am mystified by how they got to Australia. No-one seems to know. Not even the scientists.
