I took the Spirit of Tasmania ferry from Melbourne to Devonport.

There was a very nice bow wave. The weather was really nice and no big seas. I am hoping for a calm sea on the way back. Fingers crossed. As soon as I got off the ferry I headed east and stayed at Port Sorel that night.

Just north of Launceston, I stopped at the Tamar Island Wetlands Centre. They have kilometers of boardwalk and it is a highly recommended walk.

It had rained last night so the creek was powering down the hill.
