Dragon Pearl Beach Resort

I stayed in Kota Kinabalu for a few days and then found a minibus to Kudat, which I hopped on, hoping to get off at the corner to the Dragon Pearl Beach road. But the van driver insisted that I had to get off miles up the road, so eventually I got dropped off at Kota Belud at KFC, where I waited for a taxi. It eventually cost me eighty ringgit to get to the beach. But I am here now and this morning I went for a walk around to try and photograph some birds. There were a few about but I do not think I have any new ones. Wait and see.

There were so many Blue-throated Bee-eaters around, possibly up to fifty.
