Bakers Point Campground – Narawntapu National Park

In the morning I went for a walk around the Bakers Point Campground. It was a bit quiet but still there were a few good birds. After that, I packed up camp and went to the Archers Knob walking Track to look for the bird hide over the lagoon. But I could not find it. The lagoon was a dead loss with hardly anything in it. doh!

Brush Bronzewing (Phaps chalcaptera)

This Brush Bronzewing has got a very red patch on the top of his head. Not sure if this is the local sub-species.

Hoary-headed Grebe

These were about the only things on the lagoon. Sad.
