Carnarvon to Quobba Blowholes

Just before I left the caravan park I looked up into a tree to see what was singing and saw a snoozing Tawny Frogmouth. What a treat.

I did all my shopping and got enough water and set out for Quobba Blowholes. The road out there is tarred now, so it was very comfortable driving. I stopped at the blowholes for a look and I was honestly impressed. The blowholes were spurting out with a raucous roar.

The island a little offshore was full of gulls and terns. Standing room only.

I forget the proper name. They are long and thin.
