Not the Rejects at Poptun

Some decent photos of earlier stuff that was pretty crap and shot in dark light. This morning at Finca Ixobel, Poptun, Guatemala.

Collared Aracari
Collared Aracari (Pteroglossus torquatus)

This Collared Aracari has a broken bottom bill. He seems to be doing all right, but.

This is what it should look like.

I could not resist this photo of a Collared Aracari in flight. Awesome.

And another one just because I can. 🙂

Yellow Warbler - male
Yellow Warbler (Setophaga petechia)

A Yellow Warbler out in the open with decent light. Amazing. A male with the stripes on the belly.

Magnolia Warbler - male, breeding.
Magnolia Warbler (Setophaga magnolia)

A lovely shot of a male breeding Magnolia Warbler in decent light.

White-collared Seedeater
White-collared Seedeater (Sporophila torqueola)

The ruddy wash on the chest of this White-collared Seedeater means it is a Caribbean slopes race. Do not know the name. Must look it up. Nah,can’t find anything definitive on it.
