Cenang Birding – Searching for the Chinese Blackbird.
I got a message from Sofian Zach yesterday afternoon, saying there was a rare bird out the back of my guest house. So I grabbed my camera and set out to see what all the fuss was about. I found him and had a look at his photo. I thought it might have been a Eurasian Blackbird. We searched for the rest of the afternoon but did not see it again. The next morning we were at it again. It had been identified as a Chinese Blackbird, the second only sighting for Malaysia. Tom joined us later in the morning. Eventually we did spot it in the distance but could not find it.
