Western Northern Territory

Sullivan Creek Rest Area – the eastern gateway to the Judbarra/Gregory National Park, jointly managed by the traditional owners and Parks NT. The park protects part of the Victoria River catchment with a climate that ranges from wet/dry tropics in the north to the semi-arid zone in the south.

The Northern Fantail has a grey breast with pale streaks and long white tips to outer tail feathers.

This Willie Wagtail has got a nice meal of a butterfly. yum yum.

I drove on east and stopped at Brandy Bottle Creek. There were a bunch of Apostlebirds and Grey-headed Babblers squabbling away in the creek bed.
