Parry Creek Farm

I met a Dutch birder at the Parry Lagoon yesterday and he advised me to come to Parry Creek Farm and camp. It was great. They have a swimming pool and a camp kitchen and a lovely billabong out the back. And I needed a shave badly. In the morning I went for a wander around the grounds and there were quite a few bush birds in the trees around the camp.

Paperback Flycatcher

Paperback Flycatcher (Myiagra nana)

This is the best shot of the Paperback Flycatcher that I have got so far. Very happy with this one.

White-throated Honeyeater

White-throated Honeyeater (Melithreptus albogularis)

Upside down as per usual.

Rainbow Bee-eater

Rainbow Bee-eater (Merops ornatus)

It is impossible not to take a photo of these gorgeous creatures. Especially when they roost right in front of you.

White-winged Triller

White-winged Triller (Lalage tricolor)

Green Pygmy-goose

Green Pygmy-goose (Nettapus pulchellus)

Striated Pardalote

Striated Pardalote (Pardalotus striatus uropygialis)
